- Organisations using Givee are responsible for their fundraising campaigns including compliance with fundraising and raffle regulations.
- Payments are processed by third-party payment providers and funds are transferred directly to the organisation's nominated account.
- A 1.5% platform fee is automatically deducted from each transaction with no subscriptions or mandatory monthly fees.
- Givee does not hold donated funds or operate fundraising campaigns on behalf of organisations.
- Supporters may generate advocacy messages or participate in fundraising campaigns but organisations remain responsible for how those campaigns are conducted.

Agreement Structure
These Terms & Conditions incorporate the following policies, which together form the agreement governing use of the Givee platform:

Each policy forms part of this agreement and should be read together.
Where there is any inconsistency between documents, the Terms of Service will prevail to the extent permitted by law.
By accessing or using the Givee platform, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these policies.
Platform Overview
Givee Technologies Pty Ltd (“Givee”, “we”, “our”, “us”) provides software tools that enable organisations to raise funds, mobilise supporters and engage communities.
These services may include:
- Tap-to-donate fundraising
- Digital raffles
- Event ticketing
- Merchandise fundraising
- Point-of-sale fundraising
- Online fundraising widgets
- Advocacy and supporter engagement tools
- Fundraising devices and related infrastructure
Givee acts solely as a technology platform provider.
Organisations remain responsible for their campaigns, fundraising activities and communications.
Platform Evolution
Givee is a continuously evolving platform.
From time to time, Givee may introduce new tools, services, integrations, fundraising capabilities, automation features, analytics functionality, hardware devices or other platform components.
These features may be added, modified or removed at any time.
Unless otherwise specified, any new features or services introduced by Givee will be considered part of the platform and will be governed by these Terms & Conditions.
Givee may also introduce additional policies or guidelines that apply to specific services or programs.
User Responsibilities
Organisations and users of the platform are responsible for:
- ensuring fundraising campaigns comply with applicable laws
- ensuring raffle or lottery activities comply with local regulations
- ensuring donations are used in accordance with their stated purpose
- ensuring communications with supporters are lawful and transparent
- ensuring advocacy activities comply with relevant regulations
Givee provides technology infrastructure only and does not supervise or control campaigns.
Generated Content and Advocacy
Some Givee features enable supporters to generate personalised communications including advocacy letters, campaign messages or supporter outreach.
These communications may be dynamically generated or personalised based on supporter inputs.
Organisations remain responsible for ensuring advocacy campaigns comply with applicable laws and regulations.
Givee does not endorse, verify or guarantee the accuracy or legality of generated communications.
Donations and Payment Processing
Givee integrates with third-party payment providers to process transactions.
Payment processing, settlement and financial compliance are handled by these providers.
Givee does not hold or control donated funds.
A 1.5% platform fee is automatically deducted from each successful transaction before funds are transferred to the organisation's nominated payment account.
Additional processing fees may apply depending on the organisation's chosen payment provider.
Device and Hardware Usage
Givee may provide or support hardware devices used for fundraising activities.
These devices may be supplied through initiatives including the Givee Sustainability Program, which repurposes existing technology to reduce electronic waste.
Organisations are responsible for:
- safe and lawful use of devices
- maintaining device security
- compliance with applicable regulations
Part A: Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Givee collects, uses and protects personal information.
We comply with applicable privacy legislation including the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect information including:
- names
- email addresses
- phone numbers
- transaction information
- device information
- platform usage data
Payment card details are processed by payment providers and are not stored by Givee.
3. How Information Is Used
Information may be used to:
- provide platform services

4. Data Sharing
Information may be shared with:
- payment processing providers

Part B: Terms of Service

Givee grants organisations a limited, non-exclusive licence to access and use the platform for fundraising and supporter engagement.
Ownership of the platform and technology remains with Givee Technologies Pty Ltd.
3. Acceptable Use
Users must not:
- misuse the platform
- conduct fraudulent fundraising
- interfere with platform services
- violate applicable laws or regulations
Givee may suspend accounts for violations.
4. User Content Responsibility
Content created using the platform including campaigns, letters, messages or supporter communications is considered user-generated content.
Organisations and users remain solely responsible for such content.
Givee does not verify or guarantee the legality or accuracy of user-generated content.
Users agree to indemnify Givee against claims arising from misuse of the platform.
5. Fundraising and Raffle Compliance
Organisations using the platform must ensure fundraising activities comply with applicable laws.
This includes compliance with:
- charitable fundraising laws
- raffle and lottery regulations
- ticketing regulations
- consumer protection laws
Organisations are responsible for obtaining required permits or licences.
Givee provides technology tools but does not operate fundraising campaigns.
6. Platform Role and Regulatory Position
Givee provides technology tools enabling organisations to conduct fundraising, supporter engagement and advocacy activities.
Givee does not act as a charity, financial institution, payment intermediary, lottery operator or advocacy organisation.
Organisations remain solely responsible for their campaigns and fundraising activities.
7. Pricing and Platform Fees
Givee uses a transaction-based pricing model designed to allow organisations to begin fundraising with minimal upfront cost.
There are no mandatory setup fees or subscriptions required to access the core platform.
Givee charges a 1.5% platform fee, automatically deducted from each successful transaction processed through the platform.
Additional payment processing fees may apply depending on the organisation's selected payment provider.
8. Plans and Feature Availability
Givee may offer different platform plans that include varying levels of functionality, usage limits or support.
These plans may include differences in:
- number of users
- number of fundraising flows
- messaging limits
- automation capabilities
- integrations
- data insights
- device access
Full details of current plans and pricing are published on the Givee website.
Givee may update plan features, limits or pricing from time to time.
Where material pricing changes occur, Givee will provide reasonable notice where practicable.
Givee reserves the right to introduce, modify or discontinue plans or features at any time.
9. Sustainability Device Program
Givee may provide fundraising devices to eligible organisations through the Givee Sustainability Program.
Device availability, eligibility criteria and usage conditions may vary and may change over time.
Givee does not guarantee device availability for any organisation or campaign.
10. Third-Party Services
Givee integrates with third-party services including payment providers and infrastructure services.
Givee is not responsible for the operation of third-party systems.
11. Service Availability
Givee strives to maintain reliable services but does not guarantee uninterrupted platform availability.
Maintenance or third-party outages may affect service availability.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Givee will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the platform.
13. Liability Cap
Givee's total liability arising out of or relating to use of the platform will not exceed the total platform fees paid to Givee by the organisation during the 12 months preceding the claim.
If no platform fees have been paid, liability will be limited to AUD $100.
14. Termination
Givee may suspend or terminate platform access where:
- terms are violated
- fraudulent activity is detected
- verification requirements are not satisfied
Users may discontinue use at any time.
15. Interpretation and Policy Hierarchy
These Terms & Conditions consist of multiple policies.
Where provisions conflict, the following order applies:
- Terms of Service
- Platform policies
- Privacy Policy
- Cookie Policy
If any provision is found unenforceable, remaining provisions remain valid.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
