Delete Your Givee Account
This page is publicly accessible and does not require login. You can use the options below to request deletion of your account and personal data.
1. How to Request Deletion
- If available in your app version, use the in-app account deletion flow in account settings.
- If you cannot access the app, email team@givee.app with subject line Account Deletion Request.
- Include enough information for verification (for example: account email, organisation name if relevant, and recent transaction reference if available).
2. What Gets Deleted
- Account access credentials
- Profile and account preferences
- Supporter-facing profile data where applicable
- Personal data that is no longer required for legal, fraud, or security obligations
Where practical, remaining records are de-identified so they can no longer reasonably identify you.
3. What Is Retained
Some records are retained where required or permitted by law, including:
- Financial transaction records kept for statutory compliance periods
- Records needed for fraud prevention and dispute resolution
- Security logs and audit evidence required for platform integrity
- De-identified and aggregated analytics datasets
4. What Happens Next
- We confirm receipt of your request.
- We verify your identity before processing deletion.
- We confirm the outcome and explain any retained data categories required by law.
