Child Safety & Abuse Prevention Standards

1. Our Position

Givee is community fundraising infrastructure.

Givee does not provide:

  • Open messaging between users
  • Public content feeds
  • User-generated media uploads
  • Peer-to-peer social networking features

Givee is designed to facilitate secure donations and supporter identity within controlled non-profit fundraising environments.

2. Zero Tolerance Policy

Givee has zero tolerance for:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
  • Child sexual exploitation
  • Grooming behaviour
  • Any content or activity that exploits or endangers minors

Any attempt to use Givee's infrastructure for unlawful, exploitative, or abusive purposes will result in:

  • Immediate suspension of the relevant account
  • Permanent account termination
  • Reporting to appropriate law enforcement authorities where required by law

3. Platform Controls

Givee maintains structural controls designed to reduce misuse risk:

  • Authenticated user access
  • No public posting functionality
  • No user-uploaded media features
  • No cross-organisation supporter visibility
  • Restricted and purpose-limited data access

Givee does not operate as an open social media platform.

4. Reporting Child Safety Concerns

If you believe that any activity on Givee violates child safety standards or involves potential child sexual abuse or exploitation, please report it immediately.

  • A description of the concern
  • Relevant account details (if known)
  • Any supporting information available

All reports are reviewed promptly and escalated where appropriate.

5. Cooperation with Authorities

Givee complies with applicable child protection laws in the jurisdictions in which it operates.

Where required by law, Givee cooperates with lawful requests from regulatory bodies and law enforcement authorities in matters relating to child safety and exploitation prevention.

6. Legal Compliance

Givee complies with relevant national and international laws relating to child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and child exploitation.

This includes compliance obligations applicable under:

  • Australian law
  • UK law
  • Other applicable jurisdictions where Givee operates

Givee will take all reasonable and lawful steps to prevent misuse of its services for unlawful purposes.
